Presenting Companies:

CAROLINA ALVO, launched in 2014, was inspired by a very personal frustration of its founder, who -at 4’9″- is a true petite. Carolina’s shopping experiences always left her feeling defeated, as if her size was an industry afterthought; clothing options were limited, unfashionable, ill-fitting, and more often than not required a trip to the tailor for much-needed adjustments.
Carolina decided that if no one was making the clothes that she needed, she was going to take matters into her own hands and make them herself! After doing research, she discovered that half the female population in the United States is petite (defined as 5’4″ & under). Her survey respondents also indicated something of significance: Petite women feel like they are not taken seriously because of their size, particularly in the workplace. Armed with all of this knowledge, Carolina set out to design the perfect first style, and Kathleen fit & flare dress was born! The next step will be offering this same cut in a variety of seasonal and classic fabrications for Spring/Summer 2015.

Petite is Powerful!

VOZ – meaning voice – empowers Latin American artisans by designing contemporary Ready to Wear collections that feature their ceremonial artistry.  VOZ harnesses the beauty and profit potential of the fashion industry to empower women economically, cretively, and culturally.  Our margins mirror those of the fashion industry (55% wholesale and 75% direct to consumer), and today we are selling in forty high end fashion stores in six countries.
For AW14 we are on track to surpass $100K in revenue and are negotiating department store partnerships for our next collection. To meet this demand, we’re raising capital to scale our sales and marketing as well as production.BrideClick helps advertisers in the $61 billion US wedding market reach brides digitally.Today’s brides are digitally savvy. Brides ages 18-34 spend more than 3 hours per day online. They access bridal content from multiple sources and at all times of the day.  This has created a highly fragmented market. BrideClick offers a centralized and data-driven platform for advertisers to influence and understand brides.

BrideClick’s network of bridal bloggers, wedding websites, and mobile applications speak to a bride’s specific interests in depth, giving BrideClick more information to analyze. This gives BrideClick the advantage over single bridal sites.

BrideClick’s methodology differs from other bridal media by making use of data intelligently in order to analyze a bride’s behavior pattern and interaction across BrideClick’s network of bridal websites and mobile applications. This allows BrideClick to more effectively and efficiently place digital advertisements in front of brides.
